MARINE INTERCOM SYSTEM

The SeaCom marine intercom and telephone system offers integrated, rugged solutions specifically developed for onboard wired communication needs. Central exchange models such as the SeaCom 2100 and SeaCom 3000—which form the heart of the system—combine automatic telephone exchange capabilities, talk-back intercom functions, and Public Address (PA) integration into a single unit designed to withstand harsh maritime conditions. Within this range, the SeaCom 2100 is a Windows-based exchange designed for large-scale installations supporting between 30 and 256 lines, whereas the SeaCom 3000 offers a more compact, Linux-based digital alternative supporting between 24 and 144 lines. For higher-capacity or specialized projects, modular SeaCom 19" cabinet systems—capable of scaling up to 408 extensions—are the preferred choice. The system’s field components consist of stations built to high protection standards, ensuring uninterrupted operation even under the harshest marine and atmospheric conditions. For instance, the SC211 model, designed for open deck areas, features IP65 water-resistance certification, a 10W horn speaker output, push-to-talk (PTT) buttons, and DNV-GL type approval. Meanwhile, anodized aluminum stations such as the SC411 and SC421—designed for engine rooms and open areas—offer automatic answering and two-way hands-free communication capabilities. Powered by redundant 18–32V DC main and emergency battery inputs, SeaCom systems integrate seamlessly with standard analog DTMF telephones, satellite communication terminals, external strobe/horn relays, and bridge alarm systems. The entire system architecture is easily configured and managed via dedicated Windows-based software connected through Ethernet or USB.

VoIP SYSTEMS

SeaCom VoIP systems fall into two main categories based on their application areas. The first category comprises maritime-focused systems developed by SeaCom Denmark. Holding DNV-GL certification, these systems ensure uninterrupted communication even under the harsh conditions found on ships. Comprising IP811 and IP311 VoIP PBX servers, analog line converters, and IP phones, this hardware operates with low energy consumption (maximum 2.5W). The system integrates onboard telephone lines, public address (PA) systems, and intercom networks onto a single platform, offering unlimited scalability. The second category consists of Seacom Business cloud VoIP solutions, which serve corporate enterprises across Africa. This system offers a virtual PBX architecture that reduces infrastructure costs by eliminating the need for physical PBX hardware. It incorporates advanced enterprise features such as multi-site management, custom greeting messages, voicemail, call queues, and call recording. Additionally, it supports audio and video conferencing capabilities and mobile app integrations, providing a flexible digital communication infrastructure for remote teams.
