WORK AND MOB SUITS

Hansen Protection work and MOB (Man Overboard) suits are high-performance protective garments designed to ensure maximum safety in harsh maritime conditions and rescue operations. These SOLAS and MED-B approved anti-exposure suits are manufactured from durable materials such as flame-retardant, waterproof PU-coated Oxford nylon or 3 mm thick neoprene. Thanks to their integrated closed-cell foam structures, they offer users both high thermal insulation and inherent buoyancy, eliminating the need for a separate lifejacket. While ensuring watertight integrity through double-welded seams and abrasion-resistant reinforced zones, their special Y-cut ergonomic design allows for freedom of movement during deck operations. Furthermore, they provide a fully integrated safety system featuring life-saving equipment such as an emergency whistle, a light, lifting straps with safety rings, and integrated neoprene gloves.

HELICOPTER PASSENGER TRANSPORT SUITS

Hansen Protection manufactures specialized survival and immersion suits that provide superior protection against cold-water shock and hypothermia for passengers traveling by helicopter to offshore energy facilities. The company’s flagship models—such as SeaAir1, SeaAir Europe, and SeaWind—are designed for helicopter transport in harsh marine environments and fully comply with international aviation and maritime safety standards, including EASA, SOLAS, and ISO regulations. Featuring fire-resistant Gore-Tex/Nomex fabric, smart thermal linings that regulate body temperature, and integrated emergency breathing systems (EBS), these suits offer passengers thermal protection for up to six hours, even in freezing waters. Equipped with critical safety features such as Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) pockets, life jacket integration, spray hoods, and emergency lights, these high-tech garments maximize survival chances in the event of an accident.

IMMERSION SUITS

Hansen Protection immersion suits, including specialized models like SeaEco+, SeaArctic, and SeaPass, are engineered to provide vital thermal insulation, buoyancy, and high visibility during cold-water maritime evacuations. Designed for rapid donning under emergency conditions, these SOLAS-approved suits utilize high-quality, flame-retardant neoprene and robust zipper configurations to guard against cold shock and hypothermia. While lines like the SeaEco and SeaArctic offer extended multi-hour thermal defense and automatic self-righting systems for extreme environments, options like the SeaPass provide lightweight, compact storage for passengers, and the SeaWork series delivers flexible mobility for daily operations. Every suit integrates critical safety features such as retro-reflective tape, emergency lights, whistles, buddy lines, and lifting hooks to maximize survival odds and facilitate swift nighttime or low-light rescue tracking.

THERMAL LIFE JACKETS

Manufactured by Hansen Protection and setting the standard in the maritime industry, Hansen thermal lifejackets are high-end safety devices designed to save lives in harsh, cold-water conditions. Prominent models like the Hansen SeaLife TP feature a 2.5 mm thick neoprene fabric structure reinforced with polyester layers; this not only keeps survivors afloat but also provides superior thermal protection against the risk of hypothermia. Fully compliant with IMO SOLAS standards and certified by DNV on behalf of the Norwegian Maritime Authority, these lifejackets offer a minimum buoyancy of 150 Newtons and feature a secure design that prevents them from slipping off the user's body. Essential for commercial vessels and offshore operations, this equipment incorporates critical safety components such as an emergency light that activates automatically upon contact with water, retro-reflective tape, a whistle, and a "buddy line" to keep personnel together.

INFLATABLE LIFE JACKETS

Hansen Protection inflatable lifejackets are marine safety products designed to offer superior protection for professionals operating in demanding maritime conditions. The brand's prominent SeaLion SOLAS 275N and SeaLion Europe Crew series—as well as the SeaBass flotation suits—are engineered to meet the highest international safety standards. Featuring a twin-chamber safety design, these lifejackets are equipped with Halkey-Roberts inflation mechanisms and CO2 cylinders that activate automatically upon water contact. With a high buoyancy rating of 275 Newtons, they possess the capability to rapidly bring even an unconscious casualty to the surface and rotate them into a face-up position (self-righting). Their design incorporates "Wave Barrier" technology—an asymmetric, interlocking internal bladder system—which prevents waves from being directed straight into the user's airway (mouth and nose area). These lifejackets include critical safety features such as SOLAS-approved reflective strips for night-time visibility, an emergency light, a whistle, a "buddy line" for connecting with other survivors, and a lifting loop to facilitate recovery from the water; an optional sprayhood is also available. These advanced safety lifejackets integrate seamlessly with professional rescue and immersion/abandonment survival suits, offering superior comfort without restricting mobility.
